** 2024 Opponent Preview : USC (Game 10) **

Hopefully the team hasn't given up on the season.

The upperclassmen have been through so many situations like the one they're heading into this weekend, knowing it'll be completely demoralizing to lose and coming out playing scared to lose.

I just don't see this game even being close unless we establish the run to move the chains in the first quarter.
I’ve been known to be a bit too optimistic on occasion, but I like to think a staff shake up like this is going to produce some results. I’m sure the playcalling will be better all by itself, but it would be nice to think that this move also encourages a little more motivation in our players.

I'm sure there are players that liked Satterfield as a guy.  But, I can't imagine any player that believes our offense was working the way it needs to.  Surely, they see that jumping on board with this move is the best chance for them to win more games.

Gamesmanship.  DR will be the starter.  By saying HH and Dk are taking all the snaps makes USC have to prepare for more then they actually have to.
Yep, I would not show my cards either.

I hope the Nebraska media respects an upper hand, and doesn't ask obvious questions that could assist the USC side, and gain some intel.  That would be dumb of them.  Esp with us trying to get a bowl win someway or another.

"Hey who's the starting QB?"  "What kind of offense are going to run?"  "What kind of playbook will you use?"  "Will it be run heavy or pass heavy?"  "Will you be using the same plays?"

Rhule said he's not letting anyone talk to the media today (normally the coordinators would speak) to avoid that scenario. Not sure if he meant just no offensive players/coaches, or if it won't be anyone.

How would he know?
Couldn’t tell you. That’s just what he said. I know he’s got good relationships with a lot of coaches, so maybe they talk. He is a pretty big fan of the Huskers, and seems to stay in tune with what’s going on.

I have never listened to that, is is a pretty good show?
I really really like it. It’s one of the few sports talk shows that I can listen to. They don’t scream about everything like they do on most sports shows these days. Rick is great.

Neuheisal may well know something, but that's also the smart way to guess on a show if you don't know. If it comes out later in the week that Raiola isn't practicing you can save face by saying he aggravated it. And if he does play, you're the guy who "knew" it first.
