** 2024 Opponent Preview : UTEP (Game 1) **

UTEP trash talking us is weird.  I thought everyone understood we pay them a crap ton of money to be a lamb for slaughter and that's the deal. If they win THEN you would trash talk but idk I would probably stick to preseason trash talking an in conference opponent if I were them.

When you're playing a team that was once a college powerhouse but has gone 28-52 over the last 7 years and has lost to Troy and Georgia Southern it seems inevitable. They have a new coach who brought a lot of players with him and have a fresh hope for the future. I'm with Toe, let them have some fun.

Are they really? I only see a handful of threads over the last year in that forum.

Ugh my brain had forgot those losses. Probably a self defense mechanism. 

Losing to Troy State, Georgia Southern, Northern Illinois, almost losing to FCS McNeese State. 

We need to get back to blowing out smaller conference, and level schools. I don't want a scrappy game, build some confidence and rhythm for Colorado.

UTEP tries to get 100 plays a game.

The nice thing is that it is way easier to get lined up with a 3 man front.  Plus, NU's 3 man front is huge...so they should be able to devote 8 on the backend.  Look for some picks!

I used to LOVE the way Bo would defend these spread teams, it was a thing of beauty.

I heard a sad story about it after Alan Rickman (who I love) died. 

They were planning to make a sequel to Galaxy Quest and a bunch of actors from the 1st movie got together to have dinner and I guess chat about it or just have a little reunion. He had cancer and knew he was terminal but didn’t tell them because he didn’t want to ruin the evening. 

Really wish they would have decided to do it a couple years earlier, because he was working up to the year of his death.
