UTEP is 0-38 all-time versus power conference programs since 1998 (inception of BCS). The Miners stand 1-59 against schools from power conferences, with the lone victory coming against SEC member Ole Miss (14-7) in the 1967 Sun Bowl.

Sometimes it is crazy to see how bad some programs have been.

Clearly as Husker fans we have been spoiled but still, some of these schools have the lamest history.

Unpopular opinion: I prefer 11am starts, and this was an 11am start type game, so it's a missed opportunity.

I get too excited and don't want to wait. I want to wake up and the game is about to start.

(Also, we are leaving on our road trip at 2:30).

@Moiraine learn to pace yourself, or find another hobby for the mornings/early afternoon.

Over the past decade, our Huskers taught us not to assume any opponent is easy. We tend to make world beaters out of the less than average teams. Fingers crossed that this season will be different. Just make a bowl game and it is an improvement. UTEP should be a W but you never know.
