I was legit shocked to realize baseball isn't at every olympics and we have to deal with breaking being a thing. There are so many other kinds of dance that require more skill and athleticism. Breaking is what people who suck at gymnastics but still want to do gymnastics do.

 
I think the breakdancers have tons of athletic skill. Don't know if the Australian woman caused it, but they've already announced that Breaking won't be back at the next Olympics. 

 
My understanding was that Breaking was on a one-year trial run. Next Olympics has flag football and some other stuff

My olympic hopes are tethered to the triathlon of mowing, fertilizing and weed pulling being trialed in 2032.

Some of the crap they try reminds me of the Ocho commercials in Dodgeball. Break dancing? C’mon.

There are a lot of other types of dancing that require more athleticism, and the moves they're doing are pretty similar to the pommel horse routine. They are doing something much simpler than an olympic sport that already exists, IMO.

It may be inappropriate but I don't care:

Several of these U.S. women track athletes are stunningly beautiful. Some even by supermodel standards.
