If Ulis is available next year it would help. It put us in a bind when he was penalized but those charges were dismissed. Not sure if Janowski is a point or a two.Hope Hoiberg sees that a ball handling point is needed. Uconn guards are eating Purdue up!
Ulis will be ok, but I think we need someone quicker. Jankowski can play either guard position, but I see him as a 2.If Ulis is available next year it would help. It put us in a bind when he was penalized but those charges were dismissed. Not sure if Janowski is a point or a two.
He was there to support Tominaga in the 3 point contest & a couple of comments he made sounded like he's planning to be back. Don't remember exactly what he said, but I'm pretty sure he'll be back.Has it been confirmed that Mast is coming back??? I know that Williams and Gary have been confirmed but haven't heard anything about Mast.
Sounds like the condition of his knee is also a contributing factor in his decisionHe was there to support Tominaga in the 3 point contest & a couple of comments he made sounded like he's planning to be back. Don't remember exactly what he said, but I'm pretty sure he'll be back.
Was he playing in pain all season bc of his knee??? I didn't even know he had a knee problem.Sounds like the condition of his knee is also a contributing factor in his decision
Evidently they down played it somewhat, but it was brought up recently that it impacted how many minutes he could practice. Was he playing in pain all season bc of his knee??? I didn't even know he had a knee problem.
Mast was non existent the last 4 weeks of the season. Something was wrong. He's a good player. He had knee surgery for "clean-up" right before Christmas and missed a couple of weeks. You could tell the last couple weeks of the season it was affecting him as he looked like he was laboring when he went up and down the court.
He had what they called a "minor" knee surgery around Christmas & was out for a couple of games. It definitely affected his ability to practice full time - it was mentioned by Hoiberg several times in press conferences. If it was as minor as they say, a few weeks off should let it fully heal - or he could need to have another "clean up" done and then a few weeks off to let it fully heal. I'm sure we'll hear his status fairly soon. Was he playing in pain all season bc of his knee??? I didn't even know he had a knee problem.
Thank you!!!!! I think Mast and Williams and Gary are all vital to having another successful season next year.He had what they called a "minor" knee surgery around Christmas & was out for a couple of games.
