He may not work out, but he is the type of player you take a chance on. All the potential in the world. You hope the connection with Mozee helps bring out the best in him
Of course I will be rooting for him now that he’s a Husker! I ALSO hope we get a proven edge rusher. Seems rational to me.

The "work ethic" thing, that is almost always coach speak for "I don't like this kid". Unless the kid literally just stood around during practice, it probably just isn't super true.
Now, he very well might be a jerk, that is more likely.

I don't doubt he wanted more money but if that was the main goal it seems like he would have drawn this out and got more bids.

I question what he was promised by Missouri. Playing time, money, ect. We held on to Hood too long. If they don't pan out, send them down the road

This poster from the Missouri board complains about Missouri as some do on this board about the Huskers. This poster appears to be blowing off steam due to losing a future player. Most freshman want to play right away & that did not happen, so he is leaving. Maybe he will be another Hood, maybe not. He did not search other teams for more money. We have his HS coach on staff & I trust that. My cousin works in the UNL athletic dept. & she tells me nothing due to the possibly of losing her job. I question the credibility of his information.
