Nebraska and Georgia are the 2 teams in the race to win Dane Key services. I understand that Dane Key is a good wr but you would think that Georgia would be loaded with talent at that position.
Yes, we need to win now, but we're also extremely thin in the defensive front seven. With over 50% of the three-deep graduating or intending to transfer, we're in need for bodies. So although previous production would be nice, we are going to have to take some chances and hopefully strike gold with a few of them.Agreed. We need to win now. Sure, you got to build for the future at the same time and get some prospects that can be developed, but we need people who can make a huge impact next year, not three years from now after Rhule gets fired because he doesn’t win more than six games again next year.
I’ve said it a few times, take him. That’s fine. I just don’t expect him to be immediate contributor. Most of my responses were reacting to a certain post about him being a starter on day one. I just don’t see it, sorry. He excites me about as much as a high school recruit who has never played a game at the college level.Yes, we need to win now, but we're also extremely thin in the defensive front seven. Williams would be an absolute take as he's got four years to play and presents great upside. Having friends and a mentor/coach on the team will only strengthen our chances of helping him develop. Also, his addition would strengthen our foothold in Kansas City.
Guess you didn't get excited when Nebraska landed DR. Such a shame.I’ve said it a few times, take him. That’s fine. I just don’t expect him to be immediate contributor. You can say that at any position besides pass rusher pretty much. Nothing else can change your team overnight besides a QB, or a legit pass rush. Guys who can win one on one pass rushing are like gold. We haven't had one since Gregory.Yawn. Another physical specimen reject from a power4 school. Pass.
Your initial response was Pass, calling him a physical specimen reject from a different Power 4 school... didn't scream "take him, but keep low expectations."I’ve said it a few times, take him. Yeah, and I would still pass on him in favor of someone who can step in right away if roster spots are an issue.Your initial response was Pass, calling him a physical specimen reject from a different Power 4 school... didn't scream "take him, but keep low expectations."

Any LT could be an upgrade. Will be a sophomore, from Washington and played in 8 games starting 4 at LT. Sounds like keeping his weight down is a challenge, and he wasn't great in his limited action. But P4 experience is good.
How so?? It's not 100% that he is going to come here regardless if we have the advantage with his old position coach. You are thinking too much
