2024 Transfer Portal Ins/Outs

I don't understand why Miami was willing to pay Beck that much. Like @Decked says he is not as good as what they had. And he played worse this season than last... then he had a season ending injury. Sounds like one of the dumber gambles I've heard of. And a smart move by Beck.

I clicked on it, figured since I started the video I might as well see what the approach is.  To save anyone the curiosity, it’s that Dittman guy throwing crap around and saying Rhule is using the Spring as tryouts: an NFL minicamp.

Will kids get “cut” after Springball? Sure.  But I find it hard to believe that the staff is intentionally bringing a bunch of players in to only cut them a month later.

But I could be wrong too…

I can’t stand Dittman either, but Damon Benning indicated something similar on his morning radio show regarding the Defensive Backs. They have a ton of them and DB said that don’t be surprised if some of them are only here for 1 semester, i.e. Spring Ball only.

Miami just finished third in an overrated conference with a QB who got 4th in the Heisman trophy voting.

And now they'll be paying the QB twice as much - presumably leaving less for everyone else.

There’s still the possibility of Jonah Wilson from Houston. And oddly the Montana State message boards are claiming that Nebraska has offered 550K to Scottre Humphrey. Odd because they said such a specific amount and yet none of the reporters have ever mentioned the guy.
