2025 CBC Tourney - Nebrasketball vs Georgetown

Huskers are 7.5 point favorites (opened at 6.5) with an over/under of 152.5.  ESPN gives them a 65.4% chance to win. 

Mast & Worster are out.  Everyone else should be available.

Lifelong Georgetown fan.  Huge Hoya fan.  Even though they've been mid or bad for a long stretch, this is still soooo cool that the Huskers are playing them.

I even think the Huskers are a lot better than the Hoyas, for sure.

Win this, and play for the Crown Championship  :woo

If not, then I hope Georgetown wins it all.

I am also a huge lifetime Hoya fan !!  Obviously Nebraska is my #1, but the Hoyas are my "other" team and have been for over 40 years.  I almost traveled to LV when I saw the bracket, but coaching got in the way of this trip.  I agree with your assessment.  The Hoyas are on their way back up, but the Huskers are a much better team right now.

I might be wrong but I think we have to win another one after this game before the championship. Like you and Hanc I've always liked Georgetown, back to the Ewing days.   :bigredn:

If they win tonight, they will play the winner of Boise State/Butler in the semifinals on Saturday.

I'm the complete opposite of the three of you. I root against any team that is or has ever been in the Big East.

I didn't look at the bracket but thought there was another one. What's with the Big East. What about Creighton. I'll root for them when they're not playing the Huskers.

I would never cheer for Creighton.

My biggest issue with the Big East is that in the 80's they had acted like their stuff didn't stink (and they continue to have that attitude).  It wasn't just a couple of the schools, it was the entire conference.
