2025 Spring Practice Notes - Defensive Backs

Will be a major strength of the team and it's timed well. With so many teams in the BIG breaking in new QB's, we have an advantage. They're going to give Underwood hell. 

 
Hartzog has been getting some talk about being the Nickel.  But it's also possible that Singleton plays the Rover spot (more of a hybrid LB/S) with Hartzog and Buford as the safeties.

Wright expected to be one CB.  The other CB spot still up for grabs.

Hopefully moving forward we have bigger safeties. Hartzog is severely undersized and Buford, while a good tackler and physical, is also undersized.
