That last one sounds like a challenge to me. I may have to watch her pick him apart tonight. Say what you want about her but she's methodical, and times like these her lack of emotion works in her favor. He can't control his smirking and reactions.

 
Character is what you do when nobody's watching, right? That's what we've always been taught? What GOP officials, and what Republican voters, need to take a long look in the mirror and ask themselves is whether or not character matters in a President, because way too many have ignored it in their own candidate while making it out to be a monstrously huge issue in whoever they oppose.

When the Democratic Party is the only demon, any false god will do.

At some point, doesn't his campaign begin to destroy his business. Who would now want to go to a Trump resort, casino, golf course etc. ?

He owns Turnberry, which has hosted 4 British Opens. I doubt it will now host another while he's the owner.

He owns Doral which had hosted a World Golf Championship Event. That event has been moved to Mexico City.

A lot of the value of his properties was the Trump brand. I've got to believe that value has significantly decreased.

You should be alone or not have the opinion. Sorry. Grown ups who talk that way shouldn't be talking that way. The "most people" who've talked that way need to take a look at themselves unless they were young at the time. I don't care if it's 90%. Trump was 60 and married.
Are you over 30 and still have conversations like this with your friends where you talk about women's tits, groping them upon first meeting, and going after married women? This isn't like telling your guy friend "man she is hot." You might be seeing her as an object in your head but that phrase isn't going as far as to saying it out loud. What Trump said was different.

More importantly, are you running for president?

I think there are some issues with dismissing this as "bro talk." Among the number of well-written articles on this, the Atlantic's said it particularly well:

Framing this as lewd, even extremely so, is a reminder of the frequent reluctance to name sexual assault. Explicit conversations are a different thing, a part of life central to mature sexuality. If Trump, Clinton, or any other candidate or human hadn’t had explicit, graphic, lewd conversations, that would be concerning. Trump’s comments are something else.

So, yes, I don't think most people talk that way. There's lewd sex talk, and there's bragging about sexual assault. It's important to draw the distinction; this is the latter. One man's boasting about using his social capital to indulge in assault, and another one's cheering him on. At least the other one seems to have ended up deeply ashamed about it.

Oooh boy, Bill Mitchell is the best. He's the same guy who said "Trump's GOTV operation is in our hearts" and I believe he was one of those "Hillary had a projection screen built into her podium to get the questions ahead of time" truthers after the first debate. The Keepin' it 1600 boys have been ribbing him mercilessly, and deservedly so.

He usually just buys into fringy Breitbart/Alex Jones type conspiracy stuff. But that's some serious victim blaming in the second tweet. Pretty appealing to justify sexual assault.

And golfer, his brand has no doubt suffered from this campaign. Particularly this latest revelation, I'd imagine. There's research out there supporting the damage it has done, though. I think the fact that they chose to relocate that WGC event from Doral to Mexico City might be the sweetest irony of this entire election.

To the bolded, I've already explained in the post you're quoting. I was speaking to you and to everyone else who thinks it's not a big deal and either say something like "everyone does it" or it's not a big deal because "everyone does it." Both of those are incorrect.

To the rest, you started your post out with "Am I alone here in thinking that conversation wasn't that big of a deal?" I'm not telling you what opinion you should have anymore than anyone else who is arguing a point. I simply worded it the way I did based on how your post started. I'm answering your question - you should be alone or not have that opinion, imho. I know it sounds kind of bitchy, but you asked.
