I just wanted to say thank you for your efforts this year. This has been an amazing season with unforgettable highs and unforgettable lows. I'll never forget the atmosphere at Memorial Stadium after 33 made his final int against OU, and I'll never forget the miracle drive by VT to score the go ahead touchdown (still haunts my dreams). One thing that remained a constant this year was your undying effort.
Many of you were part of the team, that just a few years ago, did not even make a bowl game. The same players that yesterday were one bogus pass interference call away from beating arguably the best team in College Football and winning the Big Twelve.
Oh, and thank you Bo and staff, last night you proved two things:
1) Defense wins championships.
2) As long as the Pelinis are in Lincoln, Nebraska is going to have the most physical, well coached, dominate D in college football.
