Theres only 6 teams in the league so far and in the first round 2 of the picks were former 'skers... Eric Crouch (Texas) and Josh Sewell (Alabama)

The league is looking to expand for next year and Nebraska is a consideration for a team fyi.

Alabama looks to be Husker Heaven, they took Mike Erickson to go along with Sewell. Sounds like a power run game to me.

I was looking at the Texas Roster and they already have a QB. He played for Texas Tech in 2003. Wonder if Crouch is gonna be a backup again. Could be interesting.

I don't know a lot about this league but I believe the original players on the roster, like before the draft are guys that were from that certain area.

I would think if he was the first player they chose he would be their starting QB...

It probably depends somewhat on what type of offense they run. I don't think many people would argue that Crouch could run a pass heavy offense better than Kliff Kingsbury, or that Kingsbury could be a dual threat QB that Crouch could be.

XFL 2.0

This will be a one and one thing I'm sure. People have no reason to care about these teams. Just look at the various indoor football and how little interest people have in them.

Sorry I forgot the name earlier but just checked again. Its BJ Symons

Kingsbury was on a NFL roster last I checked(maybe cut I dont know for sure) but I couldnt see anyone in the NFL, even a 3rd sting guy, jumping for this.

Nebraska players drafted: Eric Crouch (texas) Josh Sewell (alabama) Mike Erickson (Ark) willie amos (tex) Ola Dagunduro (tenn) full draft list hereLINK
Thanks for the link.

Noticed that "He Hate Me" (of XFL fame, a.k.a. 'Rod Smart' in the NFL) was drafted right after B.J. Simons in the 38th round..........
