I do to. I will close it for now. I say if the guy wants to advertise, pay like everyone else. The classifieds are a service for contributing members.

 
But in the long run could it bring in more new members?

I don't think so - if anything, it might turn members and potential members off. While I appreciate that they put it in Classifieds, the fact remains that folks go there for tickets, husker gear, and general items. This is a little too "in your face" - kind of like a popup ad.

I don't know about deleting - we might want to contact them and ask them if they want to advertise per the terms of the Board. If yes, then we keep it. If no, then we delete it. If no answer, we delete it.

If other folks want to advertise, we might want to set up a "Goods and Services" forum for just that purpose, where all the ads (except featured ads) are listed.

 
Thanks guys. Its been deleted. Not to discriminate, but I noticed the source was japan, so highly unlikely they wouldve paid to advertise.
