agree, he is not a guy that can take a pounding in the NFL........12-15 carries is about right.

To be fair, there were only 11 RBs in the NFL last year who had enough carries to average 15 over a full season.

He shouldn't need to. We have Riddick who should always be out there in passing situations (top 3 pass catching rbs in the league), Zz to0, whom I really like and also aaista (who is great in short yardage situations). Ameer should only get 10 to 15 carries a game

Ameer Abdullah already turning heads

In 2016, it looked like Abdullah was ready to take that next step, until the end of this play (check out the video in the LINK).

As ESPN’s Matt Bowen wrote about the clip, it’s a fantastic run. Even though Abdullah suffered a season-ending Lisfranc injury at the end doesn’t undo the vision, cuts and burst he showed to make it.

Not surprising. Mike Boone was their 3rd RB and he left-- Ameer can do a wide variety of things for them. Steady player.
