Another text formatting issue

Speaking of these text boxes, has anyone else noticed that if you copypasta some text from an article into the text box here, then highlight it from top to bottom and hit the quote button, the text disappears? BUT, if you quote the copied text from bottom to top, it works just fine.

Weird.

I've also noticed a double quoting error. Earlier today, anytime I quoted someone, it kept putting two quotes into the text box. Rather annoying. I know I'm not being a daft idiot and over quoting.

Also, couldn't edit text earlier. I'd click edit, make changes, click save changes and they wouldn't appear.

Also, I hate these text boxes and I'm going to burn them with Hell fire.

One thing I figured out is you get the double quote thing when you double click on the quote button. That could be your problem.

I only ever single click. Sometimes it double quotes, sometimes it doesn't. And then, sometimes, the damn thing won't let me erase the first set of quotes, even after I click save changes.

All of the starving african children and sex-slavery-sold teenage indian girls and here we are thinking that a small glitch involving italics on a husker message board is a huge issue

I'm noticing this as well, its quite annoying.

I've also noticed that if you have a pretty decent sized post with different bits of formatting in it, say a few things that are bulleted and then a numbered list with some commentary, it will all bunch up together. Editing it to reinsert the spaces and line breaks only makes the problem worse when you republish it. I find myself inserting characters and coloring them white to force spaces and breaks...
