Team HuskerBoard
Hey guys,
Im going to be out of town this weekend, and unfortunately in the wrong one - going to Chicago, and wont be back until Monday night. Wondering if one of you would mind updating the schedule with the game results? Its really simple, & I have most of the text for the stuff that I thougth would be good to provide for postgame stuff, so its just a matter of finding links, which can mostly be found on huskerpedia.
check it out here http://www.huskerboard.com/2005_Husker_schedule.htm
what I did last season was update this and then post a link to it in the football forum, calling it "Maine game stats, pics, videos, stories" or whatever. feel free to add any other stuff to it as well.
I'll move it to the /mods directory, so you can just ftp the updated file and use that link. I'll also put a meta redirect in the other index url, so I dont have to change all the links and people who find the schedule in search engines will be redirected to the updated one.
Anyone up for it? FYI for the new guys - I had a directory set up on the huskerboard server for mods to use -- which you guys can feel free to store personal stuff on, or when you want to link pics, vids or whatever. just please remmber to never put copyright stuff out there, i.e. mp3's etc. b/c my host told me a buddy of his who provides a similar hosting servivce got fined $20K b/c one of his clients had 20 mp3s on one of his sites, which got spidered and ended up in a chat room, and was reported by the bots which are apparently now programmed to look for mp3s to report to the RIAA. anyway, just be careful what you put out there, but feel free to use as needed. some of the other mods have custom folders set up, whcih you can also do.
you can use any ftp software to get there. I use filezilla, which I believe you can find for free via download.com - or dave/frank can show you another one.
