Anyone want to make some cake?

Blackshirt

Team HuskerBoard
Hey guys, sorry I havent had time to be around much anymore. Id like to, but unfortunately (and fortunately) this is my peak season with baseball equipment sales, so I have to keep me eye on the prize.

With that said, was wondering if anyone would be interested in earning a $50 husker gear gift cert, and helping the board at the same time. Ive done a comprehensive recruiting review the past few yrs, (others have contributed as well), which really drives a good amt of traffic to the board, creating many new members.

Ex: http://www.huskerboard.com/2007-Nebraska-F...cruiting-Review

As you can see its just a compilation of info, and links. Doesnt take much thought, but does take some time, which I dont have. The main thing I do is wait for the major services like the Herald to release their recruiting "capsules" about each player, and then plagiarize away - with attribution of course. These will all be available beginning tomorrow. But in the mean-time you could get a head-start by setting up the main layout of the page, and inputing the players we know are a lock.

Skills required are knowledge of basic html formatting program. You could use the same template I created last yr, and I'll update the graphics for '08.

You could pick anything out from huskergear.com, huskervideos.com, huskerts.com, or bestofbigred.com

Anyone up for it? And if multiple ppl contribute, I'll split the prize up.

Thanks guys.

Hey guys, if you could let me know even if you arent interested, that way I know everyone has had a chance to consider it. B/c if not I'll submit the offer to the general population - just wanted to give you guys the opp first. no worries either way - i know everyone has other stuff going too.

I'd love to do it, but what with the tornados here and teh after-storm problems, I'm just not sure I can get to it any time soon. The next few weeks look to be bad for me, time-wise.

What's the deadline for doing it, by the way?

Thanks anyway Frank - no worries. Thought we had someone to help, but said he started on it and realized how much work it really was, and decided he didnt have time for it.

Does anyone at least have any suggestions for someone you think might be up for it? There has to be some highschool/college kid with html skills and nothing to do that could use $50...
