Sorry about the format....anyone know how to set up columns on here?

*I was alerted to a similar post elsewhere. Interesting defensive stats... :wasted

I said it last week, and I'll say it again this week -- our defensive line (minus Suh) is absolute garbage.

I would start experimenting with moving Turner back to WILL, letting him try to get away from taking on blocks every play. Also try to get him back to doing what he does best, get after the passer. He just looks horrid as an every down lineman.

Potter -- Iowa had it right about him all along. His future was at OT or TE. How you can be 6'7 280lbs. and such a pansy I do not understand.

And then Kevin Dixon. With all the good things we have heard about him, he has been getting absolutely dominated these last two games. There is no possibly way Barfield, Johsnon, Martin or even Moore can be worse than that guy at this point.

I know people will hope on McKeon and Ruud, but I think this year has been a prime example of how they benefited from our great defensive lines of the last couple of years. I even made of this last year for McKeon when I said he didn't benefit anymore from Adams and Smith playing in front of him. While Cryer and Ola were good, they were nowhere near as good as our DT's from the year before.

All in all, I think our defensive line in years past really allowed our LBs (or are they known as cheerleaders this year?) to play in space by taking up so many blocks. This year, with our defensive line just being that horrendous, it is making our holes that much more glaring.

Made the same arguement last week and everyone downplayed it. Our run defense is non-existent and will probably cost us another 2-3 games this year. Oh, and everyone also reminded me that Wake is a good team......LAUGH!!!! Maybe last year they were but they will be lucky to make a bowl game this year. Must be tough to go play in front of 35K screaming fans, I mean look how USC struggled playing in front of our 80K
