Am I the only one that gets the feeling that this kid simply thought it would be fun to go on another free trip?

The coaching staff would have no problem with that, the important thing is getting him to visit for whatever reason. You never know what could happen, he could fall in love with the place. Just need to get him here.

Totally agree. Plus I think the fact that he wants to visit here in particular shows that there is something he really likes about our staff/program. If a kid just wants a free trip to have a good time there are plenty of better options than Lincoln, NE in the dead of winter. Something is stirring inside EQ's head or heart. I really hope he changes his mind and boards that plane.

Let the kid come to this. If the kid came out and said "I'm done, no trips, 100% firm UW," cool and be done. But when the coach comes to this conclusion for him, whose making the decision? Newby has come out and verballed, declared himself no more trips. There is a difference between Newby and Qualls.

I was referencing the comment that Newby's coach made that seemed to indicate the coach was disappointed that Newby chose Nebraska over UCLA. Perhaps Qualls coach is pulling for UW.
