His films show good instincts, moving the ball carriers on the perimeter (he could help in our rush defense) and making plays on the ball. However, I did not see much evidence showing he could handle the long ball. His 40 time is strong (but not elite). I actually like him in the secondary as a safety.

As a WR, I could see him as a slot receiver or receiving a quick pitch out on the flat and letting him make guys miss. Again, I have not seen much film to demonstrate he could stretch the field during the deep ball.

Has looked at Rutgers and plans to visit Maryland and West Virginia.

Papuchis is in contact with him quite a bit. Hinted that he might like to stay close to home but said that wouldn't have to be if he felt comfortable elsewhere.

I usually don't like to say 'oh, well' when we miss out on talented guys, but oh, well. I think we are in on some really talented WR and DB this class. Winfree had potential as a run stopper, but definitely worried me with his one-on-one coverage.
