Why wasn't 13 wins an option? Or 14? Or 15??? Ha ha, just kidding.

Hoping for 10. Thinking 9.

We could even reach 11 if the breaks fall our way. But 12 wins? 13?? Or more?? LINK

A 4-0 start (doable) will have NU ranked, what, 15? The hype in Nebraska will be off the charts. Maybe even great than before that USC game at home back about 7 years ago.

I doubt it. We will be unranked to start, and even at 4-0, we'd be hard pressed to crack the top 20, let alone 15.

I was kind of thinking the same thing but at 4-0, two of those wins would be vs "name" teams or power 5 teams (I know, I know, BYU is an independent), that right there could be enough compared to a lot of other teams.

It's possible. Depends if 8 SEC teams are in the top 25 or not. We'll need a bunch of teams to lose for us to pass them.

Meh, I would wager 7 SEC teams are ranked by week 5.

I would say a 4-0 start would land us at 15th or a spot or 2 below. Doesn't matter though unless we can beat MSU and Sparty.

Love it 😁

Other than Kaaya, Miami doesn't scare me. They rank 121st in returning OL starts. They lost Duke Williams (yeah we lost Ameer).

But..... They still have Al Golden, and we don't have Bo.

Yeah i don't know who their new RB would be but I assume we have the advantage. And yeah, we have years of sad footage from the Golden era where as they will only have a couple games to learn what we are this year.

Miami lost their best RB, best WR, best TE and best defensive player (MLB) plus a few other starters.
