Yep. A scheme predicated on chunk plays wont work in the B1G. We've had 17 in 3 games....3 TD's (one each of our last 3 games).....So yea, IMHO, our scheme needs work.
Go back and read my posts the years under Riley. I hated the hire when it was announced and it only grew through the 3 years he was here....Thinking I was EVER a Riley fan is insane.
And yea, I'm a player and we keep running Mo off tackle, continue the screen pass, have and offense that ranks. Our O is in the tank. And if it was better last year, guess what. The stars of the O were 4 Riley guys led by a Frost guy....
Here is our O compared to last year. So yea, as a player I'm wondering WTF....and looking at the staff to introduce plays on the O to help me from getting my a$$ kicked. Misdirection, shuffle pass, counters, traps, draws, quick slants, motion from different sets....
I'm not going to blindly follow Frost and give him a pass because he's Frost. He owns some of this sh!t show.
