What's with the sizing issues of the avatars? It looked fine when I set it. No crop was necessary, but on the board it looks zoomed in and you can't even see it.

 
When displayed as an avitar, the image is sized to 100 x 100 pixels. The problem isn't the size of your image, which is 200 x 190, but with the dimensions - it's wider than it is high. When the image is cropped for an avatar display, there is more room for height than for width. So, a picture that is taller than it is wide will appear "normal" when displayed as an avatar. You could adjust the image and put it on a black background so that the dimensions are reversed, then upload it, and it should be fine.

The first one is the same image with a black border on top and bottom. The second is the original image stretched ten pixels. The third is the second, scaled down to 100x100. Hope one of those works for you.
