Rahmir's YPC stats are not as high as they should have been largely due to poor zone blocking.

Combine another year worth of experience for him with hopefully at least some kind of blocking improvement and I think he can be the work horse we need. Just has so much potential as a receiving threat also.

 
New eyes (coaches), new plays, new blocking schemes, new QBs, etc.   i think that starting tailback spot is truly wide open.  RJ has ability and his experience will be a big plus in his eval.  But, I don’t think there are any RBs that can be ruled out for significant PT yet.  This is a good thing.  Now, by time spring game ends, I should think the list is half as long in the coaches’ minds.  We won’t know until Irish eyes are smiling.
