B1G Week 5

If it wasn't for Oregon moving into the league, who the hell does Ohio State ever play?

Penn State?  They always beat PSU.

I doubt they will play USC or Washington.  Maybe they will get a s#!tty UCLA team down the road.

Regular season,

In 2017 they played #5 Oklahoma, #2 Penn State, #12 Michigan State, and Michigan

In 2018 they played #15 TCU, #9 Penn State, #24 Michigan State, #4 Michigan

In 2019 they played Cincinnati (finished #21), #25 MSU, #13 Wisconsin, #8 PSU, #13 Michigan

2020 was #18 PSU, #9 Indiana

2021 was #12 Oregon, #20 PSU,#19 Purdue, #7 MSU, #5 Michigan

2022 was #5 Notre Dame, #13 PSU, #3 Michigan

2023 was #9 Notre Dame, #7 Penn State, #3 Michigan

ie, when our league was 14 members, including the conference championship game they usually play every single ranked team in the B1G except Iowa.

No offense, but your argument mentions 26 teams.  But only 5 of those teams were out of conference, including Notre Dame twice, and you also mentioned Cincinnati.

When you have teams filled with 4 and 5 star talent, guys that go on to play Pro Ball, you should beat the teams in your conference.  Which OSU almost always does.  Ranked conference teams are just "other teams" in the conference.

In 2017 they played OU in Columbus and got beat by 15 points.

In 2021 they played Oregon in Columbus and got beat by 7.

Another great example that shows they don't play anyone on the way to getting a playoff spot.  And they haven't made it to the Big Ten Championship recently because Michigan beat them 3 years in a row.

Indiana?  PSU ??  Michigan State ??  Purdue ??  LOL that's who they have been playing every year.  Who cares what those teams may or may not be ranked.

I guess I'm confused about what you're mad about and what you want here? They more or less play the best teams in the conference every year and also have a marquee out of conference opponent almost every year.

Your post started with "Does Ohio State ever play anyone?" and "who the hell does Ohio State ever play?"

This year they play at #6 Oregon, at #7 Penn State, #10 Michigan and #23 Indiana.

Next year they play Texas, Michigan, Penn State, and Wisconsin/Washington/other teams and who knows who will be good.

The year after that they play Iowa, Nebraska, USC, Michigan, Oregon.

I'm just mad at OSU because they've been so great for 20 years!  That way I can twist it any way I want too    And then I will occasionally yell at a cloud lol
