It was stupid on his part...I don't care at all and PETA people are usually freaking freaky freaks but he was stupid to even bring it up and post.

If PETA didn't make a big deal of it, the kids that look up to NU players would never hear of it. Still, I don't see this as a football issue. An athlete can't fart today without it being an issue for the University.

Funny you said that...I agree.

I really think it would kind of be a pain in the a$$ to be a "stud" athlete at a big school...its so freaking easy for you to end up on FB, Twitter, Vine, Instagram, you name it...you are drinking a beer? picture...taking a shot? picture...it would kind of suck

 
There are lots of things that athletes do that are just plain stupid while in their position....stealing bikes.....stealing crab legs.....assaulting girl friends.....etc.

Killing a raccoon that just bit you is not one of those things. If I were him, I would mark PETA's outrage up as something pretty funny and move on with my life. That is an organization that really doesn't need to be taken seriously in any way.
