Tebow is lucky to even be included here. I wouldn't have had him on at all, honestly. I don't think he's remotely in the top 64 college players, all time.

Anyone who votes for Tebow here should be banned from Huskerboard. I don't think Tebow should be any higher than what he is. I always thought he was overrated and Florida just had a great team. Chris Leak probably thinks the same.

I don't think anyone is voting for Tebow over Sanders. I'm just saying that I thought Tebow was a fantastic college QB, who was second to none when it came to leadership.... Stats don't tell the whole story in college football. If they did, Frazier wouldn't be anywhere on this list either....

Even if they did he was one of the most statistically prolific quarterbacks ever.

I feel that the incredible amount of undeserved "NFL" attention Tebow has received, has in some way tarnished his incredible collegiate career....

I agree with RollinRock. 2 Heisman finalist finishes with one win and 2 NC as a starting QB with the numbers he put up was worthy of being considered one of the best college players ever.

Tebow had a fine college career. He was a standout player on a standout team.

But there have been, literally, hundreds of players like Tebow through the years. Tebow benefits from the recency effect in much the same way that Ndamukong Suh benefits over Rich Glover.

I get that his stats are gaudy, and he played QB of a very good team. But he benefited from a system that featured him greatly - much like Eric Crouch circa 2001.

The system did benefit him as you said, but not the same way the systems do at Hawaii/SMU, or Houston.... He was putting up impressive numbers against some of the best teams in the country.... Again, I'm not trying place him on college football's Mt. Rushmore, but he is deserving to be on this prestigious list....
