yes here is a huffingtonpost.com article about him on Jimmy Kimmel. If anyone is interested he also ran for the house of rep. In the gov. race he recieved 1% of the vote and did not win the primary. In the house primary he won 0.5% of the vote also not enough to edge the "mainstream" canidates

Oh Basil Marceaux was on the republican primary ballot all right. His campaign may seem like a joke, but remember. This is Tennessee.
