The Huskers are started out faster than ever in recruiting--and so is our conference. Since the avg. class size is about 22 recruits, the Big 12 is approaching half full in early July.

Big 12--10.5 commits

SEC--7.8 commits

ACC--7.8 commits

Big 10--7.4 commits

Pac 10--6.9 commits

Big East--6.1 commits

scout article (This Scout article is free, as of Jul 1 anyway.)

Big East doesn't have as many commits because so many of the players leave the northeast to go away to school.

I’ve long wondered why there aren’t more top college football programs in the Northeast. If Rutgers continues to improve, they may fill a gap.
