Hey man .. been having some weird problems with the forums the last few days although I think it might just be my computer.

So I try to login and it tells me I have logged in successfully and all of that but then in the next page it still shows me logged out. No matter how many times I try this it still does the same thing over and over.

I've had some computer problems with a stupid trojan virus that I am pretty sure I got rid of, but it makes me wonder.

Any ideas?

 
Since it's almost certainly his computer (no one else had reported any problems), about all I can suggest is he try clearing all cookies and giving it a try.

He probably also needs to download and install a program such as Spybot Search & Destroy. It's possible that his HOSTS file was corrupted, although I don't think it's that. But Spybot is very good at rooting out malware that can really hose a system.

If those don't do it, the easiest thing would be to back up, format, and reinstall - which is a pain, but easier than trying to track down what's happening and correct it.
