Its not just the players, its his system as well. LSU in 2007 was number #1 in turnover margin in the SCC, and one of the best in the country. So no, it was not an anomally like rkhufu7 suggested.

I agree. His system is such that aggressive players, with a nose for the ball, are put into positions that allow their talents to thrive.

MOST coaches promise improvement... I expect omprovement from the mighty D as well, but what else would he say?

every team is different, the 2009 team will be different than the 2008 team which was different than the 2007 team.

players change, injuries happen, etc. The O may suffer a bit this season.

BO knows football.

Hopefully they will continue to improve.
