Bo Speaks in Columbus

yah, the first few times they had a two guardsmen at the door and they were instructed to open the door for the team.

well, at first they opened the door like they were being polite. "let me get the door for you, coach callahan." "oh, that awfully nice of you, specialist. thank you!"

then they got to be more dramatic about it. THAT's what i liked about the new tunnel walk. they weren't just opening a door, they were FLINGING open the door of HADES ITSELF unloosing the fiery DOG OF HELL know as KEVIN COSGROVE'S BLACKSHIRTS!!!! AW3ZOM3ZOMGLOL!!!!!!1!

(okay, good until we got to cos... but you get the idea.)

look, i can see why some people want to dump everything bad about the last regime. but the thing is, not everything WAS bad with the last regime. the tunnel doors were a nice touch.

I always thought it would be cool if they grew roses on the doors. Especially if we had won the rose bowl the past year.

I agree, the doors were a good thing I think.

I'm actually glad that the doors are going to be gone. I miss the days where you can actually SEE the players waiting to be rushed out onto the field. I miss seeing them jumping up and down getting pumped up to storm out onto the field.

It was pretty cool to see military guys/gals opening those gates but I thought that the gates looked a little cheesy and cheaply made.

I'm not going to miss the doors that much, but it was a nice way to honor our service men and women and help people remember them. I DO like how he said whatever the tradition was with the tunnel walk that's what it is going to go back to. :clap

Opinions will vary...I thought they were cheesy, self-indulgent and over the top...I just can't believe my wish is coming true...the next thing that needs to go is that crappy red metal that gates the top of the video board....ghey.
