Board Under Attack?

Guys, this is weird – at 9:12 p.m. tonight (Saturday) I noticed a huge number of guest. Over 40, in fact. When I checked where they were on the board using the Last Click option, each and every one of them was “Viewing Board Index”. Odder still, they had “hit the board” over a very brief period of time – meaning they opened the page at almost the same time. I think the board may be subject to someone trying some kind of attack, so keep your eyes open.

I noticed up to 48 at one time. The board seemed to run the same and the pages loaded up quickly. ???

At one time, it got up over 50. The times shown indicate that multiple "hits" occurred at almost the same time. The best I can think of is either someone made the board their home page and they opened up a ton of tabbed instances to test tabs, or else it was some amateur's attempt at a DDOS attack.

Huh, that's real odd. Could it have been a spammer trying to register a bunch of accounts? Or, yea, it could have been a lame DDOS attack.

Thanks for pointing it out Frank. you know Ive seen stuff like that in the past, and then it just goes away. its clearly artificial -- I was even thinking some type of search engine bots perhaps... ? oh well not taking any chances, back to my aluminum foil suit.
