Bob Elliott will not work as a field coach but remain as a defensive analyst. Scott Booker will coach both safeties and special teams.

Scott Booker was a full-time assistant at Notre Dame while Diaco was there. Known as a very good recruiter. #Huskers

Sounds like Elliot and Booker are basically switching places. So that's good for the defense that they are both still with the team. Hope Bob is okay, though.

Wow. That's too bad, I hope for the best for his health. In the limited spring interviews he did you could tell he was extremely knowledgable.

Maybe this is a good thing for the team. Sounds like we will still benefit from his knowledge and wisdom but have a younger, likely more energetic coach on the field.

Hope he is OK. I still think he can be a huge asset to the defense. He knows it and can give very good advice to the staff with what he sees.
