This is from 1/25 (after the OSU game).  What we have done so far was given a 3.6% chance of happening...

Who do we want to win? Michigan or Ohio State?
Tough call, we need a tier one win, so it'd be nice if Michigan looked better. On the other hand, I'd rather face OSU in the conference semis than Purdue or Michigan State so the buckeyes need to keep winning.

I see Michigan already won.

Really Nebraska just needs to keep winning or none of this matters.

Making it to the Big Ten championship game might get them to about a 50% chance of getting in the tournament. Winning it is obviously the only sure way to get in now.

They had been able to point to zero bad losses to counter no good wins, now that's gone. Played not to lose today and it showed with how tight they were all game.

Watson :bang need a leader out there, he needs to step up his decision making

Is there any way this loss helps? If we move to the 5 seed in the Big 10 Tourney and then win two games in the tourney versus being a four seed and only winning one tourney game? Would that help out? Just trying to find a silver lining. Also realize we will have to win out the rest of the season and win at least a couple conference tourney games.

I think Michigan would have to lose to PSU or Maryland, or we'd have to lose a game to become the 5th seed.

We just pissed that away.

Nothing we can do now except win the whole tournament...otherwise, we're not going to be in.

If Nebraska gets to the Title game in the conference tourney they are in. It would be wins over Indiana, Penn St. (And likely) Michigan, and Michigan St... That's three nice wins to close the year, 11-2 in the last 13, sitting at 24-10. RPI is 60 now, if they close out as mentioned above, it will climb.

I've thought this for a couple weeks - that being the 5 seed and (hopefully) getting another win might actually be helpful.  Of course, that meant losing a game coming down the stretch so it would probably be a negative overall.  And we're tied with Michigan right now but hold the tie-breaker so we'd have to lose another one (at least) to get the 5 seed so it's definitely not in our interest now but had Michigan won another game or two it might have been an interesting debate.

Win out and one in the tourney and we might get in. Might have a play-in-game as an 11 seed if we make it in. If not, we will be an NIT one seed.

Win out and win two in the tourney, getting us to the CCG,  and we are in. I am certain we will not have to play a play-in-game.

Win out and win the whole thing= in.
