What are Moos and Frosts stance on this? I NEED the chair
Still waiting on the answer to this!
I concur. Think about how some of the other trophies were originated. Many of them were silly student-created items to make the outcome a little more fun way back in the day. Broken Chair could be that same thing in 25-50 years (whatever timeframe). The origin story of the Illibuck and other trophies are weird and fun. Why kill off something like an obscure trophy? The best part of the chair is the ridiculous story behind the trophy, it’s something the fans get a kick out of and why not use one more motivator for the team to rally for. Give a nod to the fans, let us laugh at our past with a whacky trophy, and create a good rivalry with Minnesota. (It doesn’t hurt if they get better under Fleck, they could help us look good after a win)
Its a win win win. Don’t over think it by shutting down something the fans built in good nature.
We need someone to ask Frost if he will acknowledge it.
I don't think that matters anymore. We have a new coach who likes Pelini and a new AD who is indifferent. We need Frost to embrace it..... And we also need for people to stop tagging FauxPelini with every tweet about it - then maybe the universities might be able to get behind it a little more.
If the University took it back now, there would be a danger of them trying to add a corporate sponsorship, or some other dumb crap like that.
Keep it independent and free.

I don't think it really hurts either. That all might be true, but Pelini still represented the university and the conference very poorly. There are plenty of people still in place at UNL, Minn, the B10, and within the press-world that are really glad Bo is gone...... It was fun while Bo was here, but a parody Twitter account really isn't helping anything at this point.
