Was it ok to hate a coach who was a really good guy and coach of our most recent bowl game?  Yes and yes, feel that hate. 
 

And what about the desperate and narcissistic love affair with Scott Frost….never mind. Keep it. Everyone has scars. We have earned the right to think and talk ugly for this one game, and this is it!

I am going to hate both Scott Frost and the Puffaloes but I'm good with Mr. Sprinkles, thank you.

 
Hey all. Will be attending my first game in Lincoln this weekend with my son who goes to CU(He’s still rooting for Nebraska). Any tips on things to do Friday and Saturday during the day. Kinda flying by the seat of my pants and any suggestions would be appreciated

Sweet! My connection at the buffalo processing plant came through. Getting a whole bison ribeye roll and part of a box of tenderloins on Friday. I’ll be saving the tenderloin for another time but going to smoke a bison prime rib on Saturday. Should be a good pregame meal  :koolaid2:

Nice! You have to do anything special to keep them juicy since they're leaner than beef? Also, you better post pics!

Everything I’ve seen says to do it just like beef except that it will cook about 30% faster. Going to smoke it at 225 until it hits 120 internal then move it over to a very hot grill and reverse sear it to crust/caramelize the exterior until it’s about 130/135 internal. Supposedly it should have decent marbling but if it looks too lean I may baste it with some wagyu tallow as it smokes.

I’m hopeful that it will be large enough that I can whack off about 4 good ribeye steaks to grill later before I smoke the rest of it. IDK, kind of excited….and nervous about screwing it up. But sounds like the only thing that can go wrong is overcooking it.

If I don’t screw up, it should look like this…

Sounds like a good game plan to me! Get ya a nice her rub on there and have at it. I wonder if the extra fat would be worth rendering and keeping.
