Cactusboy OG - a second request

We're headed towards one week here with cactusboy, and he has yet to even read the PM. Email? What do we do if there is still no response? Deactivate the account and inform him that if/when he returns, he can sign up for a new one? (We can always merge accounts later).

I'm wondering if he didn't figure that the game was up when he saw the subject, and never opened it?

I think regardless of whether he reads/responds to the PM, we move forward in the next day or two with the name changes. I am highly confident that "cactusboy" is simply here to troll, and that OG, odd as he is, means to be a regular, decent member.

 
His profile shows he was last active January 16. As I recall, the activity level denotes log in, and not posting, but I could be wrong. If it's the former, then he knows of the PM and chose not to read it. If the latter, he doesn't know. Anyone recall what Last Active is - log on or posting?

 
Gotcha. Well, I believe that earlier in this thread someone noted that cactusboy was "laying low". It certainly appears that way. I vote we make the change. We leave the log in names the same; that way, neither of them have a problem and think that they've been banned.

So - names for cactusboy? Once we change that, we can change CactusboyGC or whatever it is. And has anyone heard from him about what name he wants?

 
cactusboyOG wants to be cactusboy. Would that be too confusing if we did that? I think people would get used to it soon enough.

As for the current cactusboy, I don't think it matters. I doubt he comes back once the switch is made.

 
I was actually thinking that OG's name wouldn't be changed. I think it would be a bit confusing - would go away with time, of course. Mostly, would it be a step too much from our side? OG shouldn't be trolled, but he doesn't have inherent rights to the username himself or anything. I think cactusboy should be shut down (maybe something like "ex-cactusboy?").

Actually this probably doesn't matter too much. If OG already said he wants his name changed to Cactusboy, I guess we can go through with that.
