Callahan vs Carroll

I thought Callahan did a nice job by throwing quite a bit and taking some chances through the air. Towards the end of the half, when Cally tried to burn out the clock, I thought it was gutsy for Carroll to try to get the ball back. Have to admitt I liked his guts.

I hope in the second half that Cally throws the ball 4 times to every run attempt. Huskers are at home. Gotta go all out and take the chances. If we do that - I like our chances.

Go Big Red!!!

If things don't work out for BC in Lincoln, I'm pretty sure I know what he'll do for his next job. I'm pretty sure the Vegas Casinos would pay him more than his salary is at NU for the way he conducts business. He's the best "cooler" out there I've ever seen. Keller was playing lights out until "Wild Bill" decides to shrink Lucky's neck a couple of inches the next umteen plays. Next thing you know, Keller is colder than ice. Thanks for the memories Bill!

This is ridiculous, the flat out line is Callahan can't make halftime adjustments, and Carrol can. Bill is 0 and now 13 when trailing at half. I am the first one to give coaches, players, and even refs a break, because it is hard. But when there is a pattern like this you know there is a problem. Like I said before Callahan got his extension too early. Yes this is the number one team in the nation, but as we saw in the first half we have the talent to at least keep it close. :steam

This sounds like the same bullsh#t we were fed when Bohl was the D coach. Amazingly enough, the very next year the very same players learned how to make plays and tackle. Great coaches can make average players look great. Average coaches can make great players look average! Write that down.
