Can we please call this what it was?

My favorite...all the lame tweets from national guys that thought Riley was a good hire.

Second favorite...the dudes that kept thinking Riley would all of a sudden be a good coach.

And my favorite was, "oh, he's like Bill Snyder, does so much more with less.  Just wait till he gets more resources at his disposal."... my thought was always, "Ok, if he's so much like Bill Snyder, why didn't he win more freaking games?"

Wait, wait, don't tell me ... I know the answer to that.

Hindsight everything worked out perfect to lead us to where we are. Frost not getting the job sooner gave him great experience and molded him into the coach he is now. He learned the Oregon offense and can talk about coaching Marriotta etc, he got head coaching experience and can sell that he has turned things around once so he has instance credibility hence the buy in from the whole team already. Plus all these bad coaching hires have led us to be ready for him. Imagine if we kept solich- we would not have enough of the right pieces to make this offense work in year 1. Frost would have to flip the entire roster like Callahan did.

I couldn't imagine that he would bring his cast of losers with him. I was shocked when he did. I guess he wanted to keep the team together for Tuesday night dungeons & dragons.

D&D, surely you jest.  However, they have a very dedicated Bridge Club that couldn't afford to lose a member.
