I agree. If for some reason it ever comes to it, we need to stick with the old over the new. Not a matter of the # of members, but a matter of retaining identity.
I am very lax about policing members usually, because as we often say they do a great job of policing themselves. I have no problem with taking a harderline against the former 'pedia folks, because they need to get the message that this isn't Pedia, and bringing in any of the drama from over there isn't going to be acceptable. I like a good number of the new folk, but I never really liked reading the Pedia boards. Really, I had a rather poor impression of the mod teams at both Max and Pedia.
May be a good idea to use that cactusboy thread to point out any problem users in the transition so we can all keep an eye on them. Knapp, I think you have the rep as the resident enforcer...I haven't gotten a single PM
