Have looked at this board for quite a while now, really enjoy it. Most of the time any question I have you guys bring up. There is one though. Do any of you think we need to lose this weekend? For that matter should we lose out the rest of the season? If we finish strong BC might be here for another year or so (really depends on who is AD but cant comment on that right now). Or is he done anyway? I think for the future we need to make sure we clean house this year, and is losing the only way to make sure we start fresh next year? I know I'm going to get hell for this but hey it has to be asked. :restore GBR.

 
I don't think so. I mean his fate was sealed when Pud was fired. BC's gone as well. I guess for the remainder of the season we will see or may see what kind of character he really has. If he has any character at all, he'll put everything into getting us a couple of wins and a bowl appearance. If he has none, his team will do just like it has the last 2 games and lay down and take it from behind several more times this year. He could win the rest of the games this year, but he's still gone.

I don't know about everyone else, but me personally will never hope or cheer for a Husker lose in any sport, even if it would be for the better of the team and University.

So why cheer for them in the first place if you admittedly don't have their best interest at heart?
