Caption Contests and Farks?

What ever happened to the caption contests and Fark contests that used to be on this board? I used to frequent the board back in 05 06 and 07, then stopped for a few years.

I remember those threads providing some laughs and a creative outlet for the photoshop-minded posters.

(question posed to whomever wants to answer)

 
I think the guy that was running them just isn't around much anymore. I don't think there's any rules against taking up the mantle and starting some up yourself, though!

Yeah, I think so.

For added visibility, feel free to throw up a status update with a link to your thread. Hopefully that gets a few more eyes on. This would be cool to get started up again.
