I've been told I need "legitimate sources" or "credible sources." However, by definition a rumor does not have a credible or legitimate source. If it did, it wouldn't be a rumor, it would be a fact. This isn't Factville.

I understand completely why you don't want this kind of thing popping up everywhere and how it's damaging to perpetuate unfounded rumors of this nature. But I honestly don't understand what Rumorville is for if not for this. I'm just saying what I heard, and only mentioned it because my dad does not read message boards at all. He might be wrong, his source might be wrong, I get it. I didn't even pay attention to this thread until I heard it yesterday and was just wondering if anyone else had heard anything new, that's all. It obviously doesn't seem to be a problem, thankfully, and appears it will all blow over. But I just wanted to ask if anything else had popped up recently. It seems everything is chain mail and internet boards and nothing new has come out about it, so I'm done posting here anyway, there's nothing new to learn/hear.

P.S - I didn't start this thread - there were 3 pages before I ever posted.

But what you might want to check out is the person who told your dad was on Huskerboard.com rumorville 5 minutes prior. :facepalm: Just sayin, (and i'm always lookin for a reason to use the facepalm, god i love that :thumbs )

It's unfortunate that I know this, but those chicks are from one of the seasons of America's Next Top Model. Yes, I had a fetish with ANTM for 2 seasons for some reason, but no longer watch it(Tyra Banks drives me crazy also). I really liked the one on the right, don't remember her name but she was just naturally good lookin.

I lol'd when I read that, and still am laughing. As a guy with a girlfriend that watches that crap and a guy with friends who have girlfriends that watch that crap, i can hear perfectly the tone that is being used.... wow. that's hilarious, HA!

  • Carl Pelini exists
  • There was at one time at least one woman given the title "Mrs. Nebraska"
  • Bo Pelini has a basement
  • Tom Osborne is the A.D. at UNL
  • Better dead than Sooner red
  • Death
  • Taxes


That... that about covers it.

The reason I asked, is because I just heard this rumor for the first time yesterday, and I live in KS, and Carl's wife is from KS, so folks think they know stuff :LOLtartar , and it was KST fans who are only now spreading it around, gleefully, I might add. (not to mention two months late) I put up with enough crap from kst fans as it is...they remember Bo tearing Snyder a new one way back when, and have never forgiven him for such sacrilege. So I am just trying to find out if there is any truth to their rantings. There are three versions being circulated:

1. Carl got a cheerleader pregnant.

2. Carl got Miss Nebraska pregnant.

3. Carl got Miss Nebraska's and a big time booster's daughter, pregnant.

There seems to be a lot of smoke to the fire, but at the same time the rumors kind of cover the spread. I'm surprised some other female relative classifiers aren't being thrown in - booster's niece? sister? sister-in-law? cousin? ...father? chuckleshuffle

Something to follow but I don't know if there'll be any real developments.
