Too bad we missed here but as a reporter mentioned on another site, it's very hard to get straight answers out of parents, coaches, and recruits on their academic situation. Marshall can still accept partial qualifiers so I believe that's the only way they got him. I believe the reports of him having a 2.2 GPA and 22 on his ACT are false.

This would most likely be the case. With all the offers he has plus miami telling him that he wouldn't qualify...which was why he was on the market in the first place

Actually Miami is a very good school and due to their issues in recent years, they have been more stringent on their admittance standards for athletes in recent years.
