There's nothing wrong with what Riley said if it was in October. In fact I can see Frost doing the same depending on the circumstances (although I don't think the circumstances will ever be the same for Frost as they were for Riley last season). Frost had a coach who told him to stay at Stanford to make sure leaving was the right decision.

That said, I hope we kick the s#!t out of Bookie and Oklahoma both times we play them.

 
Nice job diagnosing a couple plays, particularly that screen play.  Left quite a bit to be desired when it came to the tackling department.  Got roasted on the first pass play too.  Still, not bad for a true frosh, he's got great closing speed.

 
Was Wondering who'd post this.. Looks like he's been benched the last three possessions. Ironically OU has played much better defense during that span for the most part

 
I have ended up watching him a lot this year.  He is just not a playmaker like I expected.  I had him pegged as a Tyrann Mathieu type baller.  But he is neither that strong in coverage and certainly is not a big hitter/strong tackler.  He ends up covering a lot of grass and is never really the main tackler, comes in late as the play ends.  Has been burned against good teams.  They never use him to play up and stop the run.  I thought we'd see highlight type stuff from him.  OU's knock is their defense is terrible, their liability...I just never expected him to be part of the problem.  Kinda funny Diaco is on their defensive staff.

Watched tonight.  Yes he’s a true freshman, but nothing jumped out as to him being a shut down press corner.  Honestly, not impressed at all.  Might be that the Big XII does not play defense......
