He wants all the Nebraska fans who live in Southern California to come to that game and he's going to make it worth their while for coming. Maybe he wears something Nebraska on the field? Maybe he commits at that game? Maybe he gets the announcer to play the fight song and welcome the fans to the game? Or maybe he's told his peers how crazy Nebraska fans are and has some bet where he's trying to prove it by getting thousands to come to his game lol.
