I wasn't doubting you, just wanted to read up. If we didn't press hard enough, this is just another miscue by our staff and it's really starting to get irritiating to see us miss out on all our top targets and going with backup plans. And then to miss out on a really good recruit like Dashon because we didn't go after him hard for WHATEVER reason is just dumb in my opinion...

And you know for sure we are missing out on our top targets? Maybe this guy WAS a backup plan?

Like I said before, I believe in the Jonathan Cook thread, don't think his commitment would've been accepted.

I agree with you Oregon.

This is the classic "we don't necessarily need you." approach.

 
Tell that to Prince that he's too small... This guy shouldn't be a backup plan. If you've seen how physical Dashon is, you should know he wasn't gonna be affected by height. Better prospect than Cook IMO.

 
Not to get into the size battle... but Cook has a better frame. Doesn't matter since we didn't get him. I think this is more representative of who the coaches believe they'll end up getting in the end ...

 
I don't get this. We have zero CB commits right now. Even if we somehow land Priest Willis, we only have one CB for this year's class. Add that to the fact that we moved Moore (our only CB from last year's class) to WR and that Seisay, Evans, Jean-Baptiste and Green are all graduating next year, why not pursue Hunt?

I understand that we have Rose and Jackson, but from what it sounds like right now, one of them will be moved over to S. That means we have an empty CB spot and an empty nickel spot - not to mention a few extra spots needed to be covered to provide adequate depth.
