CB Marcus Rios

Yea this kid would be a great get. #20 in the nation at his position. Has good size and seems like he is always around the ball. Is excellent in run support, which, as ive think we've seen in the BIG this year, is a definite must. Someone needs to tell Pepin to get on the ball and offer his sister if it will seal the deal! chuckleshuffle

 
It still amazes me that Boise got a commit from this kid just look at his list. Impressive that they are able to recruit with bigger schools. That being said I am all about talented defensive players coming to Lincoln instead of Boise.

COHusker: if you look at his film, he attended a camp in Boise as it was on their disturbing blue turf. That and the promise to his sister probably had something to do with it.

Chit I forgot all about Jackson! But I think we definitely take Seisay as EZ stated on his thread Seisay's JUCO coach is allowing him to skip his game Sat to come to ours so consider him pretty much in. At this point we need all the Dbs we can get so I dont see the coaching staff turning too many away if they want in. They could get creative if necessary and maybe talk Barney's kid into taking a greyshirt if necessary. We've built our young talent up on O and now its the D's turn.

 
Looks like it's a ASU vs Nebraska race for Rios. Visting ASU the 18th and us the 25th. Could commit shortly after his visit here because he wants to enroll early, either January or March. Also don't count out Oregon if they show more interest.

Hope the staff is able to reel him in. You gotta think that our track record helps us vs ASU.
